When we were looking at naming the farm, it was important to remember our family members who worked the soil on Crandall Hill. One of those who has spent lots of time with her hands in the dirt is Wanda Gooch Metzger, known affectionately by our children and their friends as "Grandma Wanda." Yesterday Wanda arrived on the farm (her second home) and promptly joined Arthur in the truck to travel up the hill to harvest potatoes. When we were preparing them for the Farm Market she inquired if she could accompany us. The picture above tells the story!

Wish that we were near by so we could take advantage of your harvest this year. Nice to see Grandma Wanda at the farm.
